Job Purpose

We are looking for a General Accounting Analyst to join our Finance team in Dunfermline.  As a General Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Financial Accountant and Accounting Services team in all aspects of financial control and compliance across financial processes including month end or quarter end close.

Job Description

Main Responsibilities of the General Accounting Analyst includes:

  • Timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting into FRS.
  • Preparation of Accounting Journals and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
  • Collation of overtime for payroll process.
  • Banking processes for completion of payments and the allocation of cash receipts.
  • Intercompany Accounting - creation of back charging invoices and queries, processing of invoices.

  • Part Qualified Accountant, a graduate or qualified by experience.
  • SAP experience.
  • Hyperion experience.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Time management skills.
