Job Purpose

Participates in engineering solutions as part of a SSE project taskforce, in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction.

 

Provides technical support to internal and external customers for ongoing projects and/or field operation. Performs original design and layout work to develop new or modified products.

 

Employs knowledge of engineering, theory, mathematics and practical mechanics to solve design and operational problems.

Job Description

  • Participates in projects under supervision of more senior engineers and assists them in different engineering topics.
  • Provides technical assistance within projects and manufacturing, fabrication, and installation sites.
  • Writes and issues technical specifications and reports related to own activities within SSE projects and/or operations.
  • Follows all TechnipFMC rules and procedures for Engineering, Quality, Environment, Health and Safety
  • Create and check TCE and Engineering documentation through the ECN process
  • Participates in design reviews
  • Prepares all levels of engineering calculations
  • Creates and reviews procedures and work instructions for mobilization, demobilization, maintenance, refurbishment, and repair activities.
  • Performs dispositions of Quality and Service Notifications.
  • Provide support during refurbishment/remanufacture activities, evaluates and approves concessions/deviations where required.
  • Participate in technical meetings internally and with client/suppliers

Can be sent on-site for new products installation and commissioning

You are meant for this job if:

  1. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/FORMAL EDUCATION:
  • BS degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent with a first professional experience in the field
  1. REQUIRED INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
  • Service/Customer oriented
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and project culture
  • Fluent English & Arabic language skills (Both written and Oral)
  • Excellent Communication skills (both written and Oral)
  1. REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS AND/OR PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS:
  • Strong basic knowledge in engineering
  • Show evidence of good organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Well organised with the ability to work independently and under own initiative
