Job Purpose

Review and interpret customer/industrial specifications

Job Description

  • Understand and interpret customer/industrial specifications
  • Be involved with design engineering team at design review stage
  • Be involved on Quality issues and looking at RCAs
  • Participate in department discussions relating to technical issues and lessons learnt
  • Shows commitment to QHSE through participation in safety and quality initiatives
  • Understand the workflow for the control of machining documentation and issuance of machining procedures fora project
  • Understanding of new Machining Procedures
  • Be involved in new processes
  • Awareness of DFX
  • Involve in audits (Adherence to codes & specs)
  • Support tenders and product engineering quotation activities
  • Ensure timely and accurate release of production & manufacturing packages
  • Attend daily meeting on Notification Review Board (NRB), Obeya etc improve throughput and manufacturing costs

You are meant for this job if:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
