Job Purpose

• Provides general administrative support to a department or group of professionals. Work is performed under limited general supervision and requires incumbents to exercise independence and discretion • The role may also provide secretarial services to one or more individuals

Job Description

• Researches a wide variety of information requests independently • Prepares and analyzes trends and reports, drawing data from a variety of sources within and outside the department • Routes or answers routine correspondence not requiring supervisor’s attention • Assists in the formulation of the department budget, business planning, and related planning functions • Has regular contact with customers, partners, suppliers or employees outside the immediate work area • May proceed logistics/ travel arrangements and solve related issues, providing assistance and guidance to employees • May assist in selection of potential new recruits • May train and manage a small group of less senior employees and oversees the quality of their work

You are meant for this job if:

• Professional diploma in the discipline with a minimum 4 years of experience or 6 years of practical administrative experience • Fluent in English
