Job Purpose

  • Partner with the business to support the full spectrum of Learning & Development activities, from planning, communication, facilitation, monitoring and evaluation of activities to ensure that learning and development goals are met.
  • Work with line trainers to implement competency matrix and appropriate technical as well as on job training.
  • Support the leadership development for managers and supervisors by coordinating the implementation of leadership & supervisory development programmes that meet the corporate and organizational needs. 
  • Support career and succession planning initiatives by tracking the development programmes/activities of succession candidates and emerging talent.
  • Co-ordinate, conduct and facilitate induction programmes to enable new employees to become familiar with TechnipFMC’s business, policies and culture.
  • Promote Learning culture by communicating and engaging the business on learning opportunities.
  • Monitor and evaluate on training to ensure training effectiveness. Follow up post event to ensure behavior change

Job Description

  • Conduct annual LNA exercise at organization, department and individual levels, including analysis of information relating to the development investment requirements from appraisal forms.  Work with HRBP/line managers on development planning for staff.  Collate annual training plan.
  • Work with line manager to customize/develop programmes to support line management requirements and conduct courses as appropriate.
  • Co-ordinate and communicate learning programmes to ensure there is awareness of availability of learning events and encourage attendance by relevant individuals.
  • Co-ordinate and organize country level programmes and maintain records of learning activities, investments and vendors.
  • Manage learning venues, co-ordinate attendees and re-charge as required.
  • Follow-up on progress and gather feedback on learning activities with trainer and participants.
  • Maximize grants opportunities.
  • Work with line trainers and SMEs to implement competency matrix and appropriate technical training as well as On-the-Job training.  To support the management of the line trainer programme to recommend appropriate people, skill and monitor training standards and activities and ensure proper documentation of training records and materials. 
  • Ensure policies and information is accessible and efficiently organized.
  • Co-ordinate, conduct and facilitate induction programmes to enable new employees to become familiar with TechnipFMC’s business, policy and culture.
  • Work with Talent Management team and HR Business Partners/Manager to support the development of our managers and supervisors by coordinating the implementation of leadership & supervisory development programme that meet the organizational needs. 
  • Co-ordinate and support graduate / internship programmes managing records/data and relevant learning activities

 

You are meant for this job if:

  • Recognized Bachelor Degree (preferred)
  • Train the Trainer Certification (preferred)
  • 5 – 7 years relevant learning and development and/or HR experience preferred.
  • Presentation skills (excellent)
  • Facilitation and training skills (excellent)
  • Project management skills (foundational)
  • Software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of training management and practices
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to work in a team structure
  • Ability to translate strategies into realistic implementation plans

  • Highly driven individuals with good communication and interpersonal skills and strong initiative to learn and grow on the job.
  • Hands on experience and knowledge of training and development practices.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to work in a team structure.
  • Knowledge of LMS and E-learning will be beneficial.
  • Able to support audits, reporting and compliance.

Position will require a focus on planning, organization, communications, control and direction of learning initiatives as required by the organization.  Position will require a person who is able to think on his/her feet, address unplanned circumstances and simultaneously manage multiple tasks.
