Job Purpose

  • Responsible for implementing and supporting activities related to the improvement of organizational processes across all areas, aligned with corporate concepts of Business Excellence, enabling the company to achieve its strategic objectives and become a reference in the market it operates.

Job Description

  • Manage projects and lead tests for the development of new manufacturing processes for flexible pipes, assembly and testing of new accessories, and/or the development of new tools;

  • Prepare specifications, reports, procedures, and/or instructions related to the industrialization activities of processes, materials, and equipment;

  • Lead the implementation of non-destructive testing equipment and welding process controls;

  • Conduct technical evaluations of manufacturing capability and compliance with design rules for quoting new commercial projects;

  • Correlate data and support operational departments in the continuous improvement of processes (safety, quality, and productivity), while also supporting the digitalization of processes;

  • Establish technical interfaces with other manufacturing units in the group to standardize processes, share best practices, and collaborate with R&D and Engineering departments to develop new products and optimize existing designs;

  • Location: Campos dos Goytacazes.

You are meant for this job if:

 

  • Graduated in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Metallurgical, or Materials Engineering;
  • Knowledge of LEAN tools and quality/problem-solving methodologies (such as A3, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Ishikawa (6M), 5 Whys, Pareto, Histogram, Control Chart, PDCA, 5S;
  • Experience with activities related to the manufacturing of flexible pipes, project implementation, and postgraduate studies in project management or Data Science (Big Data);
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI);
  • Basic knowledge in a programming language (C++, Python, Java, or VBA) will be considered an advantage;
  • Knowledge of supervisory systems (such as SCADA) is desirable; 
  • Intermediate English.
