Job Purpose

Support continuous improvement of industrial processes, focusing on welding and non-destructive testing, ensuring efficiency, quality, and technological advancement in manufacturing operations.

Job Description

The selection process for this position is intended for “persons with disabilities (PwD)”, aligned with TechnipFMC's transformation journey to become a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive company.   • Project management: Lead projects and testing activities to develop and implement new welding processes and tooling for flexible pipe manufacturing and accessories assembly.
  • Technical documentation: Prepare specifications, reports, procedures, and instructions related to process, material, and equipment industrialization.
  • Technology implementation: Coordinate implementation of non-destructive testing equipment and welding process solutions.
  • Technical assessment: Perform analysis of manufacturing capability and compliance with design rules to support commercial proposals.
  • Continuous improvement & data analysis: Correlate data and support operational teams in improving safety, quality, and productivity, including digitalization initiatives.
  • Technical interface: Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and global manufacturing units to standardize processes and share best practices.
  • Process monitoring: Ensure adoption of best practices in welding through compliance verification and monitoring of production indicators.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Metallurgical, or Materials Engineering
  • Knowledge of Lean tools and quality/problem-solving methodologies (A3, VSM, Ishikawa, 5 Whys, Pareto, Histogram, PDCA, 5S, among others)
  • Knowledge of project management and implementation
  • Familiarity with welding processes or flexible pipe manufacturing
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages (C++, Python, Java, VBA or similar)
  • Knowledge of supervisory systems (such as SCADA)
  • Intermediate English (reading, writing, and speaking), with advanced level as a plus
