Job Purpose

We are looking for a Cost Controller II to manage and monitor project and operational costs (CAPEX and OPEX). The role includes preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses, consolidating financial information for management reporting, validating ERP data, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Description

  • Prepare and validate cost monitoring reports (OPEX and CAPEX).
  • Develop cost forecasts, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Control project cost entries and validate monthly financial indicators.
  • Prepare monthly budget reports, including transformation costs, depreciation, amortization, and raw materials.
  • Conduct meetings with managers, presenting financial analyses and guiding decisions.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with corporate standards.
  • Perform complex studies for extraordinary demands and feasibility analyses.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations to align cost information.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and standardization of controls.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • experience in cost control, controlling, or finance, ideally within industrial sectors (manufacturing, energy, oil & gas, EPC, maintenance).
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial control, and project concepts (WBS, CBS, S-curve).
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, TOTVS or similar).
  • Professional English (intermediate required, advanced preferred).
