Job Purpose
Your main role will be to performs the inspection activities on medium criticality materials in order to guarantee the supply conformity against the contractual requirements during the Purchase Order execution in terms of manufacturing quality
Job Description
Monitor compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and efficiency guidelines / Follow customer specifications, industry-recommended practices, and company procedures to ensure quality standards are met / Perform daily welding inspections at the fabrication site / Conduct inspections before, during, and after welding, with reports documenting each step / Follow up NDT and inspection of welds, 5 methods / Approve or reject the welding inspection results based on compliance with standards / Testing and inspection of fabrication of subsea equipment / Able to issue and follow up on non-conformances until the close out / Reviewing suites of documents from Subcontractor / Experience with welding of CS, Duplex, Super duplex and cladding materials / Experience with piping Text package prepetition and follow up testing activities and Quality records / Experience with preparation of MCCR and final documentation / Accurately create and maintain inspection and production reports as required
You are meant for this job if:
- Engineering Degree
- Welding inspector CSWIP 3.1 or CWI
- Minimum 5 years' experience as QC welding and NDT inspector on subsea equipment fabrication
- NDT experience / knowledge (certification Level 2, 5 methods)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Teams
- Fluent written and spoken English.
