Job Purpose

• Rigid pipeline fabrication management and associated long term strategy.

• Ensure the quantitative and qualitative adequacy of resources with Fabrication & Welding projects and operation’s needs.

• Ensures the implementation of TechnipFMC Fabrication & Welding standards procedures & processes, and the respect of quality standards, targets and customers satisfaction.

Job Description

• Supervises the preparation of operating principles and procedures for the fabrication of rigid pipes and/or subsea structures.

• Ensures that the comments of the fabrication team are taken into account in the design, project planning and procurement for proper execution of fabrication activities.

• Defines the organization, the mobilization and the demobilization of the fabrication team dedicated to the project, the criticality of the site and subsea structures to be fabricated, the associated planning and the interfaces with the inspectors mobilized by the QA / QC team of the project.

• Provides the standard fabrication methods and develop reliable solutions

• Contributes and provides support at tendering phase.

• Reports the progress of fabrication activities to the project management team and any issues that may impact the budget, quality or schedule.

• Participates in the review of risks associated with fabrication activities.

• Ensures the "fabrication readiness" of fabrication sites for rigid pipelines before fabrication activities.

• Advises and offers technical support to the project fabrication team and subcontractors if necessary.

• Unifies practices across the group by providing guidance, developing / monitoring KPI, and ensure continuous improvement & consolidation of lessons learnt

• Participates in the definition of the sub-contracting strategy

You are meant for this job if:

• University engineering degree (preferred mechanical or welding)

• Possibly professional registration by Engineers institution, depending on local regulation

• At least 5 years of experience in Fabrication / Welding

• Strong knowledge of fabrication procedures and methods

• Strong knowledge of Subsea activities

• Strong analysis/Problem Solving

• Multi-discipline exposures within projects.

• Excellent interpersonal skills • Fluency in professional English
