Job Purpose

Because of increased demand in our flex pipe group, we have immediate needs for experienced Shop Assembly Technicians in our Broussard, LA facility.  In this role, you will help manufacture, test, assemble and deliver flexible pipe.  Additional responsibilities include performing low pressure flexible pipe manufacture and assembly of end fittings.

Job Description

  • Perform tasks associated with manufacturing as required.
  • Assemble and mount low pressure end fittings without assistance.
  • Participate in risk assessments (JSA’s)
  • Knowledge of welding and lathe operations.
  • Perform final acceptance testing of flexible pipe.
  • Transfer pipe to and from pipe reels.
  • Assist in examinations of flexible pipe and/or components.
  • Perform various physical plan and improvements as necessary.

You are meant for this job if:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.  Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of education, if candidate successfully completes an aptitude and reading comprehension assessment in the pre-employment process. Technical or vocational training/certification; Military; or two/four years’ college a plus.
  • At least 1 year shop mechanical assembly experience, working in a shop environment.
  • Ability to operate all equipment associated with low pressure end fittings without supervision.
