Job Purpose

As our HSE Compliance and Services Engineer, you will play a key role in implementing and continuously improving our HSE management systems across the region. You’ll work closely with regional and global teams to ensure compliance with TechnipFMC standards, ISO certifications, and local regulations.


Job description

As an HSE Compliance and Services Engineer, your role is to:

  • Run and maintain HSE systems — making sure everything related to health, safety, and environment is working smoothly.
  • Handle certifications — like ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, including audits and renewals.
  • Be the go-to expert — offering advice and support to improve safety systems and programs.
  • Work with regional teams — helping them stay compliant and continuously improve.
  • Support new sites — making sure they meet certification standards or manage the process if a certification is withdrawn.

You are meant for this job if if you have

  • A Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline – experience may compensate
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE roles
  • Lead Auditor certification (ISO 14001 or ISO 45001)
  • Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations and compliance practices
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Skills that will set you apart

  • NEBOSH, CSP, CSHO, or equivalent HSE certifications
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry
  • Fluency in Norwegian (written and spoken)
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and geographies
