Maintenance Specialist

Job Purpose

Job Description

Maintains and repairs all equipment and premises according to the maintenance plan to ensure the continuity of production in the manufacturing center.

• Ensures the preventive maintenance and repair of plants and equipment according to the plan within maintenance and HSES procedures. Finds faults and identifies the best methods for rectification (direct repair or escalation) in a timely manner. Keeps records of maintenance operations, making reports, and proposing procedures improvement. Uses and maintains correct tooling and equipment and reports damages.
• Ensure plant is operational ready all time. Identify and resolve Mechanical / Electrical issues in machines. Maintain machine maintenance track record. Procure and keep stock of critical machine / facility spare parts.
• Establish supplier and vendor network and ensure good relationship with them. Uses material handling equipment to move parts and components to and from work area.
• Performs all duties in a safe manner and keeps all employees aware of dangers in work area.
• Practices good housekeeping in assigned area and properly disposes of waste according to safety and environmental policies.

Location: Abu Dhabi

You are meant for this job if:

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering with at least five (5) years maintenance in manufacturing / CNC machine shop & Auto Tig Weld environment. Good communication skill as well.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good track record and sound knowledge of applying TPM knowledge to CNC machine tools and Auto Tig welding machines environment.
