Job Purpose
Supports and successfully executes the installation, testing, repair, and maintenance of new and reworked TechnipFMC or other brands of equipment and tools, both onshore and offshore, under field conditions, including job preparation and delivery in international environments
Job Description
- Performs service jobs, training, and other tasks as directed at assigned locations.
- Ensure all equipment, service tooling, and spare parts are present on location, ready for use, and function-fit prior to starting each job.
- Record and document critical information such as dimensions, weights, temperatures, pressures, and flow rates, supporting the review of product testing, operation, and assembly procedures.
- Complete all safety-related documentation and consistently promote and pursue safe work practices.
- Accurately prepare Field Sales Order or Charges Work orders and submit field service reports, job logs, and all required documentation with necessary details, including part and serial numbers, equipment types, and non-conformance reports.
- Maintain constant, high-level communication with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity on job procedures, parts requirements, and critical measurements, and proactively offer suggestions for safety and operational improvements.
- Serve as a professional representative of TechnipFMC, providing quality customer interface, handling customer complaints professionally, and identifying opportunities for business improvement and customer success.
- Uphold TechnipFMC Quality Management System requirements and enforce adherence to QHSE and the company code of ethics.
Responsibilities
- Uphold Duty of Care by maintaining safe work environments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and performing risk assessments for all site activities while following all Life-Saving Rules, including but not limited to authorization for safety controls and confined spaces, safe driving, energy isolation, fire hazard control, valid work permits, and fall protection.
- Install, test, and repair new and reworked TechnipFMC products, including equipment and tools, following established procedures and guidance from supervisors.
- Support and execute daily tasks such as preparation, installation, repair, and maintenance of TechnipFMC products as directed by superiors.
- Perform calculations and verification checks both onshore and offshore, such as space outs, equipment status, and test pressures, ensuring operational accuracy.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to install products, conduct repairs, and maintain TechnipFMC and other brands’ equipment according to company and customer procedures.
- Maintain TechnipFMC assets in accordance with established procedures.
- Assist with project support activities for new projects, including participation in Factory Acceptance Tests and Systems Integration Testing as required.
- Completes assigned training and competency assessments through the competency management system and meets defined requirements for technical proficiency.
- Provide feedback on equipment and procedural defects by completing Field Non-Conformance Reports (E-FNCR) and communicating findings to the Service Coordinator or Service Project Manager (SPM).
- Strive for continuous improvement in safety, technical knowledge, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
- Report to the Service Project Manager on project execution matters daily and promptly escalate business-critical decisions or issues, supporting Management of Change (MOC) processes as needed.
- Act as an ambassador for TechnipFMC, representing the company’s values and standards on every assignment.
You are meant for this job if:
- REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/FORMAL EDUCATION:
- High school diploma, Apprenticeship or equivalent technical diploma, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Basic knowledge of one or more of the following fields: electrical; subsea equipment; hydraulics equipment; mechanical equipment and tools; structural steel
Work experience can compensate for lack of formal Education.
- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 0-6 months of Oil and Gas experience
- 3-5 Years Professional Work History in Lieu of advanced schooling
- REQUIRED CERTIFICATE(S):
- Safety Certifications including but not limited to: T-BOSIET, H2S, ADNOC Safety Inductions, CPR
- TechnipFMC Service Skills Training
- OGUK or equivalent medical screening
- Valid driving license
