Job Purpose

  • Provide assistance to the Provision of Planning and Project Control activities on Subsea Projects and Tenders
  • Develop the key skills, knowledge and attitudes required for a planning role within Subsea Projects through shadowing of peers on relevant duties, on the job training, internal training programme and courses.
  • Ensure the systems, processes and reporting requirements for both internal and external clients are in place and adhered to, in line with the Subsea Projects Governing Standard (Operating Manual).

Job Description

  • Adherence to the TechnipFMC UK Planning and Control procedures (and supporting processes)
  • Participation in department initiatives for the development of the planning service and role within the business
  • Development of Budget / Tender / Project schedules in support of the Planning Engineers and Senior Planning Engineers
  • Development and production of Contract Control Schedules in support of the Planning Engineer and Senior Planning Engineers
  • Development and production of ad-hoc schedules where required, whether for project or non-project purposes
  • Participation in TechnipFMC UK Competency programme
  • Monitor and report progress on projects
  • Maintaining comprehensive records of all project planning related documentation, including as a minimum: Contract Control Schedules, Detailed Offshore schedules, As-Built schedules, As-Built analysis, Project Change registers, Peer reviews.
  • Effective management of own workload in line with known deadlines
  • Provide support to the Planning engineers / Senior planning engineers in all associated initiatives and projects
  • Deputise for the Planning Engineer/s as required

  • HNC (or above) in an Engineering / Science Based subject
  • Previous relevant experience in the Oil and Gas or Construction industries
  • Oracle Primavera P6 Certification and experience
  • Microsoft Project experience
