This is a great opportunity to join our growing, diverse team Front End & Integrated Engineering Team in Aberdeen as an Environmental Engineer. This role would suit someone currently in a Graduate / Junior Environmental Consultants position or an Environmental Advisor with relevant experience. 

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will use their knowledge and experience of the environmental impact assessment process and regulatory regime to ensure TFMC project work scopes are designed and executed in a manner that reduces environmental impact to as low as reasonably practical.

Job Description

  • Input to and preparation of documentation to support permits, licences and consents for development, commissioning, production and decommissioning for our Clients
  • Engage and manage 3rd party environmental consultancies to support specific environmental
  • activities such as environmental management system development, underwater noise modelling
  • Interface with Client Environmental Specialists
  • Conduct environmental assurance activities on TechnipFMC and sub contractor facilities
  • Be willing to stand up and inform or educate Senior Management or Clients on the
  • environmental aspects of work scopes

You are meant for this job if:

  • Degree in relevant discipline such as environmental science
  • Relevant experience in an environmental role in any industry

Background & Experience

The successful candidate will typically have fulfilled a role as an Environmental Advisor in any industry. The candidate will have an understanding of a regulatory framework in which they have previously worked and have an understanding of the environmental impact assessment process. Ideally the candidate should have experience in developing or working to an ISO 14001 compliant Environmental Management System (EMS)
