Job Purpose

Responsible for Global consolidation of Resource Planning (Asset, people, material, CAPEX etc)  during all different phase of the work, including Long Term (S&OP, Budget, Master Scheduling), Tendering and Execution Planning. 

Job Description

  • Create, update, maintain, build scenarios and Report VSO Resource Schedule during all different phase of the work, including Long Term (S&OP, Budget, Master Scheduling), Tendering and Execution Planning
  • Connect and maintain schedule information between assets and with project schedules keeping alignment between VSO and Project activities participating on meetings for discussions and decisions. Escalating and providing visibility for the stakeholders, connecting with management system
  • Regular interface with Region operations teams to advise of all vessel/project movements of issues (delays, growth, accelerations etc…) which may affect other Regions, via the Operations Planner/s
  • Regular interface with the various stakeholders within Project and VSO regarding vessel activities, spoolbase activities, offshore base activities, offshore workshop support activities, engineering and Capex programs, including the development of reporting/visibility during operations/execution
  • Hosting and/or Attend Weekly Conference Call with Regions, issue MoM and follow up on actions.
  • Consolidate projects as-built durations, liaise with Regions planners & VSO team to understand deltas compared to original schedules, and consolidate info/provide feedback to Regions to improve data base for tendering activities
  • Provide scenario schedules on an ad-hoc basis to support business case preparation and key vessel utilization decisions.
  • Development of and reporting of KPIs, including re-work, weather, breakdown, contingency time and utilization data

You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Administration, Supply Chain or related areas or equivalent experience in a technical or science based subject.
  • A working knowledge of offshore vessels or manufacturing
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze trends or deviations from standards and recommend creative and unique cross functional solutions
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the communication process and ensures effectiveness (written, verbal and listening) across functional boundaries.
  • Prepares and delivers somewhat simple proposals and reports to planning audience.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Open to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Good workload management and organisation skills.
  • Confident in hosting meetings and presentation skills.
