Job Purpose

To carry out engineering critical assessments (ECA) of subsea pipelines, ensuring accordance with the industry codes and standards, and client's specifications.

Job Description

  • Carrying out ECA tasks and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of deliverables
  • Provide ECA support to concept studies, tendering, and projects
  • Performing checking of analysis work of peer ECA analysts
  • Clearly communicating with internal and external stakeholders via technical reports and presentations
  • Developing and standardizing engineering tools and methods

You are meant for this job if:

  • Degree in mechanical or related engineering discipline
  • Sound knowledge of fracture mechanics. Expertise in understanding and analyzing crack propagation
  • Knowledge of material properties, including tensile strength, toughness, and resistance to environmental degradation
  • Experience as a ECA engineer with a documented history of fracture and fatigue assessment of welded structures
  • Proficiency in industry tools and software for fracture and fatigue assessment
  • Deep understanding of engineering principles, materials science, fracture mechanics,
  • Familiarity with industry integrity assessment codes
  • Proven ability to address and solve challenging technical engineering problems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information clearly
  • Openness and honesty about progress and challenges
