Job Purpose

To provide draughting services for the company as directed by the Drawing Office Manager

Job Description

  • Identify any key draughting issues or problems within the Drawing Office and inform the Drawing Office Manager.
  • Draughting interface and support for UKBU, TMOS, OED or any other client.
  • Review and checking of technical drawings to ensure they comply to office procedures.
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as requested by the Drawing Office Manager

Skills

  • HNC in engineering subject (desirable dependent on experience and background)
  • Relevant draughting experience
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, vault, Inventor – preferably with 3D skeletal modelling experience.
  • Fabrication. Subsea structure layout/design – including primary/secondary steelwork, pipework and control systems. For example – Manifolds, SSIV, PLEM, PLET
  • Field layout and approach design
  • Piping spool isometrics/metrology
  • Rigid pipeline, flexible and umbilical installation
  • Good people management skills
