Job Purpose

Responsible for the safe and effective execution of nominated vessel CAPEX projects from concept / feasibility stages, budget management, reporting and close out.

Job Description

•    Management of vessel Drydocks, modifications, upgrades and refurbishment work, including budgeting, selection of suitable subcontractors, cost tracking, monitoring and final acceptance of work
•    Development / improvement of TechnipFMC’s Project Management process
•    Liaise with Asset Operations Asset Manager and Vessel Technical Superintendent as key stakeholder for Fleet Projects
•    Promote correct QHSE behaviours through personal example
•    Identification and management of project risk
•    Implement quality controls accordingly throughout life of the project
•    Deliver robust handover package to validate vessel readiness for return to servicet

Main accountabilities
•    Adherence to the Project Management Process and Business Management System (BMS) 
•    Ensure delivery of project in line with schedule, budget and deliverable expectations
•    Ensure change management is implemented in accordance with procedure
•    Ensure safety and quality management standard
•    Execution in accordance with the Project Management Plan
 

You are meant for this job if:

Essential

•    HNC / HND or degree qualified in a relevant marine engineering or project management discipline
•    Relevant work experience in marine, offshore or oil and gas related industries

•    Proven knowledge of marine machinery and systems and the current legislation associated to the industry
•    Demonstrable evidence of the use of project management tools  

Desirable 

•    Marine qualification
•    Recognised project management qualification (APM Level D or equivalent)

•    Previous experience in ship repair, dry docking
•    Previous experience in portable equipment build
