Job Purpose

Executes procurement strategies for assigned components (goods / services), to ensure that quality, cost effective products are delivered in a timely manner

Job Description

For a given Subsea Project(s), to perform:

  • Development and maintenance of the project procurement plan
  • Sourcing activities
  • Invitations to Tender (ITTs)
  • Bid evaluations and award recommendations
  • Supplier qualification activities in collaboration with the QHSE department and other stakeholders
  • Contract negotiation, drafting and placement
  • Contract progress follow-up and commercial management
  • Supplier performance feedback
  • Advisory role to project team on all matters related to procurement and supply chain management

 

Ad-hoc Requirements:

Support department initiatives (for example, not exhaustive: Company sourcing strategies, systems, tools & process development)

You are meant for this job if:

Must have:

  • Contracts and negotiation experience
  • Previous experience in supply chain or subcontracts environment.
  • Proactive/committed approach to work, with flexibility and ability to undertake changing priorities.
  • Good team player with the diplomatic skills necessary to build strong internal and external constructive relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Good influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills.

Nice to have:

  • Experience and knowledge of the Renewables and/or Oil & Gas Industry
  • Experience working in a project environment

  • Engineering, Project Management, Legal, QHSE, Cost Control, Suppliers, Subcontractors
