Job Purpose

The Materials Coordinator is responsible to ensure that all Deliveries, Shipments and Returned Equipment movements made on behalf of TechnipFMC Vessels and Projects are processed and completed in an efficient process in accordance with Company approved procedures.

To carry out the day to day operations of the Shared Services Logistics function, ensuring equipment required for the Vessels and Projects are processed according to current Company procedures. By ensuring all orders are efficiently Receipted, Stored and Delivered correctly for onward shipment to meet requested schedules as required by stakeholders.

Job Description

The Materials Coordinator shall provide support in the delivery of an efficient service to meet the needs of the business by;

  • Ensuring Logistics procedures and processes are followed in the relevant discipline as assigned in Goods In, Shipping or Goods Return / Yard.
  • Goods are checked for Quantity and any apparent damage at each stage of the process.
  • Goods are as listed on relevant Purchase Orders, Delivery Notes, Outward and Inward Shipping Manifests.
  • Goods are as requested against Purchase Orders and Shipping Requests / Instructions
  • Information updates and document creation completed on Company ERP system.
  • Report to their Supervisor any issues which are likely to affect the smooth running of the department.
  • Identify any training requirements which may be of benefit personally or to the department and ensure that training requirements are met.

 

You are meant for this job if:

  • Previous experience in Warehouse and Logistics operations
  • Relevant Operator Certificates for Forklifts
  • Good organisational skills with a capacity to work on own initiative as well as part of a busy team
  • Knowledge of shipping dangerious goods by sea and air

Nice to have:

  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Experience in Warehouse and Logistics operations
  • Good knowledge of the Manual Handling Regulations
  • Knowledge of HM Customs procedures and reoutines
  • Knowledhe of Air, Sea and Road freight shipment regulations
  • Knowledge of handling & Storage of Hazardous Materials, Certification and documentation required to transport them
