Job Purpose

We are looking for an IMMR Coordinator to join our team in Altens, Aberdeen.  In this role you will be supporting our growing Inspection, Maintenance, Modification and Repair (IMMR) activities.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing people, priorities and plans together. You will act as a key link between our customers and internal teams, coordinating customer-owned equipment from initial receipt through inspection, quotation, planning, repair or modification, testing, certification and final delivery

Job Description

As an IMMR Coordinator, you will take ownership of assigned customer work scopes and help ensure they are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a key point of contact for customers throughout their IMMR activities.
  • Understanding customer requirements and coordinating plans, priorities and delivery dates.
  • Providing customers with clear and regular updates on progress, schedules and any changes.
  • Coordinating equipment receipt, inspection, maintenance, modification, repair, testing, certification and final delivery.
  • Working closely with workshop, planning, engineering, quality, supply chain, warehouse and logistics teams.
  • Preparing and coordinating quotations based on agreed customer requirements.
  • Creating and releasing service orders and ensuring technicians have the information they need to complete the work.
  • Coordinating spare parts, customer-supplied items and third-party services where required.
  • Supporting the planning of technicians carrying out inspection activities at customer locations.
  • Making sure drawings, specifications, procedures and quality requirements are available before work begins.
  • Monitoring third-party inspection, repair or specialist activities and keeping work on schedule.
  • Ensuring inspection reports, testing, certification and other documentation are complete before equipment is released.
  • Coordinating equipment movements and final dispatch with warehouse and logistics teams.
  • Supporting final customer documentation and invoicing once work is complete.
  • Identifying potential risks, delays or changes to scope early and helping the wider team resolve them.
  • Contributing ideas to improve processes and ways of working as the IMMR service continues to develop.

You are meant for this job if:

We're interested in hearing from people with experience in planning, coordination, project support, service delivery, workshop operations or customer-facing operational roles.

You will ideally bring:

  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage several activities at the same time.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence dealing directly with customers and managing expectations.
  • Experience coordinating people, resources, schedules or service activities.
  • A proactive approach and the confidence to ask questions and follow up when information is missing.
  • Good attention to detail, particularly when working with documentation and customer requirements.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and respond to changing priorities.
  • A structured and practical approach to planning and problem solving.
  • The ability to take ownership of work and follow activities through to completion.
  • A collaborative approach to working with different teams and stakeholders.
  • A willingness to learn about our products, technical terminology and processes.

Experience using SAP or working within an engineering, manufacturing, oil and gas or service environment would be beneficial.

Knowledge of surface wellhead equipment, refurbishment and recertification processes, industry standards, or the ability to understand technical drawings would also be advantageous, but we're equally interested in candidates with strong transferable coordination skills and the willingness to develop their technical knowledge.

You'll enjoy this role if you:

  • Like organising complex activities and bringing structure to competing priorities.
  • Enjoy building relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Are comfortable chasing information and asking questions when something isn't clear.
  • Spot potential problems early and take action rather than waiting for them to escalate.
  • Enjoy working in an operational environment where priorities can change quickly.
  • Take pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Want to learn and develop your understanding of technical products and services.
  • Are excited by the opportunity to help develop and improve a growing area of the business.
