Job Purpose

Financial Controller is primarily responsible for all financial matters supporting Subsea Services UK.

Job Description

  • Prepare monthly management accounts including preparation and justification of variances
  • Collation and submission of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Responsible for detailed monthly working capital reporting and forecasting
  • Assist and evaluate tender/proposal financial impact when required, ensuring proposed margins are achievable and within corporate guide
  • Other tasks as required for providing finance support for Subsea Services UK
  • Pro-actively support and Liaise with Operations Director and Project Managers
  • Pro-actively support Subsea Services with lean transformation

Must have:

  •          Good Excel Skills
  •          Team Player with good interpersonal skills
  •          Ability to communicate with all levels of management and staff both verbal and written
  •          Continually strive to improve self & work performance levels

Nice to have:

  •          Use of Oracle Financial systems or large Enterprise Resource Planning Database (e.g. SAP)
  •          Knowledge of accounting concepts
  •          Knowledge of IFRS
