Job Purpose

We are looking for a number of Field Service Technicians to support our team based in Altens.  This role will support the successful delivery and execution of jobs such as preparation, installation, repair and maintenance of TechnipFMC equipment, under field conditions and in an international offshore environment.  This role is to support the Drilling and Completion and Exploration Wellhead product lines.

Job Description

Main Accountabilities:

  • Support and execute on a daily basis activities such as, preparation, installation, repair and maintenance of TFMC products. Primarily on exploration and development wellheads and XT's plus all associated Offshore equipment
  • Perform calculation and checks such as, space outs, status of equipment, test pressures etc.
  • Works independently or in a team as a professional service technician to install products and conduct repairs and or maintenance 
  • Assures all equipment, service tooling, backup and spare parts etc are on location and ready to use and fit for function prior to the start of each job.
  • Ensure that the field service reports and other associated reports are completed with all the required information, timing, part and serial numbers, type of equipment, issues faced, FNCR’s etc
  • Maintains communication on a high level and on a daily basis with internal and external Company Representative on issues including job procedures, spare parts requirements, critical dimension measurements.
  • Assures all equipment and procedural defects are communicated back to TFMC Service Coordinator.
  • Making sure to have full control over documentation, on location inventory levels, back up equipment, status.
  • Proactively pursues safe work practices and participates in safety meetings and trainings.
  • Reports from a project execution perspective to the Service Project Manager on a daily basis and inform him directly in case business critical decisions have to be made, operational, customer or personnel wise and support a MOC.
  • Policies / procedures – ensure all policies and procedures are understood, followed and well maintained and timely submitted
  • Ensure smooth operations with a high focus on QHSE and enforce adhesion to TFMC code of ethics.
  • Have a demonstrable proactive attitude and collaborate with TFMC and the customer in order to achieve customer success.
  • Respect our working hours and make yourself productive for TFMC and or the customer which belongs to a professional behaviour/attitude.

You are meant for this job if:

 

Required Knowledge/Formal Education:

  • HNC/HND Mechanical Engineering or time served apprenticeship preferably in a mechanical discipline
  • Strong mechanical background

 

Required Experience:

  • Several years of offshore wellhead experience
  • Experience in a similar role in an offshore environment

 

Required Certificate:

  • HNC/HND Mechanical Engineering or time served apprenticeship preferably in a mechanical discipline
  • Valid BOSIET / FOET / MIST
  • Valid Offshore Medical
