Job Purpose

  • The Digital Developer will be responsible for assisting the Digital Lead by developing effective digital solutions including applications, workflows and integrations, designing, testing, improving and implementing code that meets user needs using front end programming languages.
  • The Digital Developer will conduct user usability testing to ensure that the design maximizes efficiency, and prepare training guidance to encourage self-help and adoption of existing tools (SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate etc.)
  • The Digital Developer will contribute to special projects as assigned, ensuring visual corporate branding is adhered to, site navigation and content are modern and easy to use, seeking feedback from users where appropriate.

Job Description

  • Ensure Digital developments are current, fit for purpose, aligned to the business digital strategy, following good practice, including full documentation, prototyping and relevant testing as appropriate.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the Business, with the opportunity to gain exposure and to contribute towards Business Initiatives / Improvements at TechnipFMC.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of global Project Services information systems.
  • Increase awareness and ability in “digital agility” within UK.
  • Assist the Digital Lead in supporting the selection and adoption of Tools from business requirements to User Acceptance Testing up to implementation & roll out.
  • Interaction with variety of content contributors to establish the requirements for development of Tools to support best practice, lessons learned and ensure consistency of quality of material presented.
  • Be a champion for new technologies, ensuring content is presented using modern media and styles
  • Provide advice and support to content contributors on Tools issues.
  • Participate in global initiatives as delegated by UK Project Services Digital Lead.
  • Participate in local events to showcase content.
  • Be a champion and advocate for Office 365 tool set.
