Job Purpose

• Estimates total project cost at completion • Confirms/updates the expected project profitability valuation and ensures the information is reliable

Job Description

  • Prepare sales invoices and ensure invoicing is performed on a timely basis for UK Projects.
  • Credit control.
  • Analysis of all costs charged to projects and liaising with project team to ensure costs have been correctly recorded and allocated.
  • Match and post cost of sales in accordance with sales invoicing.
  • Analyse and report work in progress against each project.
  • Liaise with Project Managers to report project performance.
  • Participate in relevant project meetings to ensure financial control of the project.
  • Assist the project team in all aspects of cost control, ensuring effective management of the project.
  • Prepare financial monthly project reports for Project Manager and Senior Management.
  • Review and assist Project Manager with budget/forecast reporting.
  • Prepare working capital.
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Accruals/prepayments
  • Prepare quotes and submit them to Project Manager for approval.
  • Maintaining project work breakdown structure (WBS) and associated tasks.

 

You are meant for this job if:

  • Relevant accounting background and experience in a similar role preferable.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Team player and ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Strong PC skills and SAP experience.
