Job Purpose

Cloud Build is a global team responsible to deploy new cloud solutions and assist with project delivery.

 

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, energetic cloud engineer to join our team and support the company in the cloud journey.

 

The position has responsibilities to participating of running projects to expand current systems or deploy new systems or cloud infrastructure.

Main Accountabilities

The Services in the scope are:

  • Azure, AWS, and Oracle Cloud
  • Infrastructure as service
  • Platform as service

 

Main activities:

  • A technology or niche subject matter expert (SME) offering advanced expertise in cloud infrastructure components, including cloud services.
  • Takes a leading role in feasibility studies and proof of concept (POC) efforts for software products under consideration for purchase
  • Assist TechnipFMC with cloud projects and migrating workloads to the cloud
  • Ensures proper delivery of services to the clients respecting project`s timeline
  • Evaluate new or innovative technologies and architectures
  • Help define cloud infrastructure design
  • Keep documentation updated
  • Produce reports, proposals, technical documentation, and user guides as required and ensure other team members and business associates are fully trained in the procedures
  • Cloud governance and standards
  • Resolution of service desk requests as necessary
  • Troubleshooting Cloud infrastructure when it is needed
  • Document and handover to the operations team
  • Mostly works in a complex/critical number of domains, with unstable/changing environment
  • Any other duties prescribed by Cloud Build Manager

Must have:

  • Fundamental to the role is the ability to Interact with global multi-national team and willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies
  • Experienced in the Cloud services (AWS and Azure) and its infrastructure
  • A good team player with the ability to work under supported pressure
  • Ability to multitask with multiple projects and work independently if necessary
  • Excellent communications and teamwork skills
  • Strong or excellent communication skill in English
  • Experienced in IT Systems, infrastructure, and Services
  • Flexible attitude to working hours
  • Strong personal efficiency and problem-solving skills; very concerned by security and standardisation/rationalisation aspects

 

Nice to have:

  • Automation of processes and tasks experience
  • Knowledge of hybrid infrastructure and on premises
  • Experienced in creating and updating high level and low-level designs documentation
  • Knowledge of TechnipFMC Business processes
  • Agile mindset
  • Infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform is advantageous
